Jennifer Podemski: 2023 Creative Voice Award
Jennifer Podemski was presented with the Creative Voice Award at the 2023 Banff World Media Festival Rockie Awards.
The Creative Voice Award honours an executive or creative talent who has created outstanding work that breaks through, inspiring and connecting global audiences.
A special shout out to the cast of Sort Of (CBC, HBO Max, Sphere Media) – winner of the 2023 Rogers Prize for Excellence in Canadian Content.
Tonya Williams: EXNW Global Connector Award
ACTRA Toronto member and Reelworld founder Tonya Williams was presented with the EXNW Global Connector Award in Vancouver at the 2023 East by Northwest (EXNW), a global gathering focused on elevating Indigenous and racialized creators.
The award celebrates individuals and organizations for their exceptional contributions to advancing creative talent in the global entertainment industry.
