ACTRA Toronto performers Scott Farley, Molly Johnson and Paul Sun-Hyung Lee are recognized for their outstanding achievements in the performing arts.
Scott Farley: Voice Arts Award
Scott Farley won the Voice Arts Award for Outstanding PSA – Best Voiceover at the ninth annual Society of Voice Arts and Sciences (SOVAS) awards ceremony on December 18, 2022.
The winning PSA for Village Montréal’s Inclusive District, formerly known as the Gay Village, is a 90-second video manifesto that celebrates the pride, validation of identities and sense of belonging experienced in one of the world’s largest 2SLGBTQ+ villages.
This award is Scott’s second nomination of 2022. Earlier in the year he was also shortlisted at the One Voice Awards USA for his work as Erney on the animated TV series Glowbies.
Molly Johnson: 2023 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards
Molly Johnson was presented with a 2023 Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award (Popular Music), which recognizes artists for their outstanding body of work and enduring contribution to the performing arts in Canada.
The 2023 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA) were presented by her Excellency the Right Honourable Mary Simon, Governor General of Canada, during a ceremony at Rideau Hall in Ottawa on May 26, 2023.

Paul Sun-Hyung Lee: 2023 Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards
Paul Sun-Hyung Lee was presented with the 2023 National Arts Centre Award, which recognizes work of an extraordinary nature and significance in the performing arts by an individual artist and/or company in the past performance year.
