Victor Garber was presented with the inaugural Lifetime Achievement in Entertainment Award by the Forest City Film Festival on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at the Hilton Doubletree Ballroom in London, Ontario.

Victor was honoured with this Award in celebration of his exceptional career and deep-rooted connection to his hometown of London, Ontario. The Lifetime Achievement in Entertainment Award honours the international stars of Southwestern Ontario.

Angelica Lisk-Hann: Most Influential

Angelica Lisk-Hann was named to Toronto Life’s 50 Most Influential Torontonians of 2024 “because she’s Toronto’s most badass barrier-busting stunt person.”

Kardinal Offishall: 2024 Icon Award

Kardinal Offishall was presented with the Icon Award at the 2024 Legacy Awards on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in recognition of his decades of service as Canada’s undisputed hip hop ambassador to the world, for his cultural impact, his seminal and chart-topping music, and for continuing to discover and develop extraordinary talent.

The Legacy Awards features performances, award presentations and tributes honouring established and emerging Black Canadian talent. The show is executive produced by ACTRA Toronto members Shamier Anderson and Stephan James, founders of The Black Academy. The 2024 Legacy Awards can be viewed on CBC Gem.

The Reelworld Award of Excellence honours individuals whose decades of creative excellence in film and series led to more authentic stories being told on screen, inspiring new generations of young artists in the process.
