Humberly González: 2025 Best Performance Award

Humberly González took home the Best Performance Award at the 2025 Canadian Game Awards, which took place on February 15, 2025, at the TIFF Lightbox in downtown Toronto.

The Canadian Game Award for Best Performance recognizes the achievement for character performance in a game. It has to demonstrate an original, creative and engaging performance that creates an indelible impression and contributes to a compelling experience.

Graham Greene: 2025 GGPAA Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award

Graham Greene is one of the most respected actors of his generation. In a career spanning over five decades, he has worked on stage and in film and television productions in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and Argentina, in roles ranging from police officers to judges, doctors, lawyers, and a Shakespearean antagonist. An accomplished character actor of uncommon intensity, he has served as a role model for countless aspiring performing artists.

The Governor General’s Performing Arts Awards (GGPAA) Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award recognizes artists for their outstanding body of work and enduring contribution to the performing arts in Canada. These national awards are presented in the categories of Stages (formerly Theatre), Dance, Classical Music, Popular Music and Screens and Voices (formerly Broadcasting and Film). Nominations for this category are open to the public.
