Joanne Vannicola is the Chair of ACTRA Toronto’s outACTRAto committee representing the interests of LGBTQ+ performers.
Jo wanted to do something to help out during the COVID-19 pandemic. With assistance from MPP Jill Andrews, Toronto City Councillor Josh Matlow, and St. Matthew’s United Church, they started a food table, where the motto is: drop what you can, take what you need, no questions asked.
