Exclusions and Waivers: To access the exclusions found in A2 of the Independent Production Agreement (IPA), Producers must first become signatory to the IPA.
Members, if you are asked to ‘be yourself’ or Production would like to interview you for a documentary, that Production must ‘go ACTRA’ and fill out the required paperwork in order for you to appear on their show and access the exclusions.
If Production doesn’t complete the required ACTRA paperwork, they are considered a non-union production, and Members would not be able to work on it.
